Nan’s Wild Blueberry Muffins

Nan’s Classic Chocolate Chip Muffins

Straight from her recipe book

Ingredients

Wet Ingredients:

½ cup of Butter

2 Eggs

½ cup Fresh Milk

1 teaspoon Vanilla

Dry Ingredients:

1 cup Sugar

2 cups Flour

2 teaspoons Baking Powder

½ teaspoon Salt

2 ½ cups Blueberries

OR

1 cup Chocolate Chips

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease pan.

  2. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar well.

  3. Add eggs one at a time to creamed butter, beating well after each addition.

  4. In another bowl, combine the dry ingredients.

  5. Combine dry ingredients to creamed butter.

  6. Add milk and vanilla.

  7. Blueberry:

    Crush ½ cup of blueberries with some milk.

    Fold in remaining 2 cups of blueberries.

    OR

    Chocolate Chip:

    Fold in 1 cup of chocolate chips.

  8. Scoop batter into greased muffin pan.

  9. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15-18 minutes or until done.

  10. Let cool, and enjoy!
